Behind the Scenes in the Fight for our Planet

Much of Nelson work’s excavates how the modern city changed while it sleeps. In canvas after canvas, he depicts the daily transformation effort at the New York streets, the bridges, tunnels, airports and the people and efforts involved in that process. The scenes are marked by earthy colors, and vivid moments. In canvas after canvas his intention is to bring the observer face to face with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Office of Environmental Projects Department's transformational projects, and to provide the viewer with a window to each conservation effort.
